Swedish surfer-activists and Save The Waves celebrate the rejection of a proposed harbor extension to Molle harbor, Sweden.
The Swedish Environmental Court rejected Molle's municipality's proposal to extend the Molle harbor due to the absence of a comprehensive environmental impact study.
The Radda Molle surf crew came together in an unprecedented protest to voice their opposition to the municipality. Their efforts and of those who participated in the Save The Waves letter writing campaign made this great turnout possible.
Representatives from Radda Molle Coalition announced, "this is a great first victory for us, but the fight is not over yet. The municipality plans to redraw and re-submit new harbor plans in the near future."
