Unlike most attorneys, Jay believes that talk is cheap and that actions speak louder than words. His legal advice has proven essential to the organization, which has frequently been threatened with lawsuits by entities with far deeper pockets than our own. Jay grew up and learned to surf in Huntington Beach, California, later going to college at Berkeley and then earning a masters at Hastings College of Law.
He has been a surfer for over thirty years, and feels that the ocean has given him so much, he wants to give something back, especially to those who are less fortunate than us. He currently lives in San Francisco and spends far too much time in a downtown office.
