With Captain Paul Watson in person to present The Cove filmSave The Waves Film Festival 2009 was one night only at the Victoria Theatre in San Francisco on November 13, 2009. Captain Paul Watson is the founder of Sea Shepherd Conservation Society,  the star of a prominent documentary television program about protecting whales, and the world's preeminent voice for the oceans.

Featuring an art exhibit by Travis Weller

Save The Waves Film Festival 2009 featured these award-winning films: 

***** The Cove - an epic activist adventure & winner of numerous international film festivals.
***** Lost Prophets - surf film with Dave Rastovich, Hans Hagen, Brian Conley & Friends.
***** All Points South - Best Short Film Award, New York Surf Film Festival; a Save The Waves film.
***** The Devil's Teeth - short local film on urchin diving with great white sharks at the Farallon Islands.

After the film screenings, participate in a Q&A with Captain Paul Watson of Sea Shepherd
