"United for Clean Water" Video

As part of the Fuerza Chile! United for Clean Water Campaign, more than 600 volunteers gathered at 16 sites in nine regions on March 24th, 2012 to cleanup and restore beaches and coastal areas throughout Chile. In an unprecedented day of cleanups, volunteers removed nearly 9,000 pounds of trash and debris (more than 500 bags), cleaning and restoring beaches, river mouths, and estuaries along more than 15 miles of Chilean coastline. Following the devastating earthquake-tsunami of 2010, coastal communities throughout Chile are rebuilding, which also means continuing to care for the coast and ocean. United for clean water.
