Kevin Hillyer is a Los Angeles lawyer who grew up surfing in Santa Barbara during the “halcyon days” of the early 1980s. After spending a year between high school and college circumnavigating the globe with a surfboard and tent, Kevin attended the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he graduated with a B.S. in International Business. Thereafter, Kevin returned to California to complete law school at Pepperdine University in Malibu.
Kevin presently serves as a director of the Edwin W. Pauley Foundation, where he continues the Foundation’s long-standing relationships with the University of California and the University of Hawaii. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Kevin still enjoys the occasional international surf trip, but when at home spends a good deal of his “surf time” riding his Doyle in the Santa Monica beach break with his two children, Annabella and Cole.
