STW Film Festival Lands on the West Coast
Presented by Pacifico and GoPro, The Save The Waves Film Festival, the only environmental surf film festival in the world, will be kicking off its US West Coast and Hawaii Tour this November. Featuring work from an eclectic mix of international filmmakers including Nate Myers, Morgan Maassen, Rodrigo Farias Moreno, Dan Norkunas & Albee Layer, Andrew Gough & Harrison Roach, and more, The Save The Waves Film Festival is curated to inspire and empower audiences with the best oceanic adventure documentaries and stunning surf imagery in the world.
Each event on tour will feature live music, raffle prizes, a catered reception for filmmakers and our VIP guests, and a bar with premium beer from Pacifico, Barefoot Wines and cocktails from Suerte Tequila and Tito’s Handmade Vodka. Now in its eight year, The Save The Waves Film Festival has evolved to become an international tradition for eco-conscious ocean-lovers and is a party for a cause you won’t want to miss.
Save The Waves Coalition is a global nonprofit organization that is dedicated to protecting and preserving the coastal environment, with an emphasis on the surf zone, and educating the public about its value. All funds raised at the Save The Waves Film Festival go directly to STW’s environmental programs, including the World Surfing Reserves and Endangered Waves.
*We strive to make all our events as waste-free as possible – feel free to bring your own reusable mug for the bar or purchase a STW Klean Kanteen pint cup from us and your first drink is free!
